Lots happening this weekend around the city for the upcoming Labour Day Long Weekend and the last kick of the can for the Summer of 2010.
The choices so far include the Blues Bash-Inner Harbour, the 143rd Saanich Fair and the Classic Boat Festival-Inner Harbour. Let's see, there's the 2010 Greek Festival on as well with Greek Food, Greek Pastries, Bake Sale,Traditional Greek & Mediterranean Dancing. Right across the street from the The Greek Orthodox Church and Community Centre on Elk Lake Drive, it's the Portuguese Festival. With, you guessed it, more entertainment, food and traditional dance and music. We did both of these last year, in one afternoon and walked away with a very happy tummy.
With three days of abolutely nothing on the books, we shouldn't have a problem fitting all this in. Or at least it will be fun trying.
