LAST CHANCE TO SHARE A UVIC GREAT MOMENT: UVic’s 50th anniversary organizers want to hear a special story about a UVic event, achievement or campus development, and the Jan. 20 deadline is fast approaching.
The “Great Moments at UVic” website makes it easy for anyone—on- or off-campus—to submit a nomination, including text of up to 200 words and accompanying photos. Anniversary organizers encourage people to share personal memories as well. For a little inspiration, sample moments are available on the website at http://www.uvic.ca/anniversary/moments/index.php.
A selection committee will review the submissions, and as many stories as possible will be shared on the anniversary website during the 2012-2013 celebratory period.
